Acceptable Use Policy
Effective January 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the voice, messaging, and network services provided by Hosted Voice, a service of MORnet Communications, LLC ("Hosted Voice," "we," "us"). It applies to every customer, user, and end user of the services. Using the services means you agree to this AUP. It works together with our Messaging Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. General prohibitions
You may not use the services to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right, or facilitate anyone else doing so.
- Transmit fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or obscene content.
- Distribute malware, or gain or attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, or data.
- Interfere with, degrade, or disrupt the services, our network, or other users (including flooding, denial-of-service, or resource abuse).
- Resell or provide the services to third parties except as expressly permitted in writing.
2. Voice & calling
- No illegal robocalls or autodialed/prerecorded calls without the consent required by the TCPA and the TRACED Act.
- No caller-ID spoofing or falsification of calling-party information; you must not defeat or misuse STIR/SHAKEN caller authentication.
- No traffic pumping, access-stimulation, or artificially inflated traffic.
- No misuse of 911/E911; keep registered service addresses accurate.
- No harassing, threatening, or repeated unwanted calls.
3. Messaging (SMS/MMS, 10DLC, A2P & P2P)
- Send messages only to recipients who have given the consent required by the TCPA, CTIA Messaging Principles, and carrier rules.
- Honor opt-out requests (STOP) immediately and provide HELP responses.
- No unsolicited or bulk messaging without proper 10DLC registration and consent.
- No prohibited content, including the CTIA "SHAFT" categories (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco) where restricted, and no phishing, fraud, or illegal content.
- No "snowshoeing," number rotation, or other tactics designed to evade carrier filtering or spam controls.
- Register accurate Brand and Campaign information for 10DLC; do not misrepresent your use case.

4. Network & security
- No toll fraud, PBX hacking, or unauthorized use of another party's account or credentials.
- No probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system without authorization.
- No use that threatens the security, integrity, or availability of the network.
- Report suspected vulnerabilities or abuse to us promptly.
5. Your responsibility
You are responsible for all activity under your account, for securing your credentials and devices, and for the conduct of your users and end users. You must keep your registration and contact information accurate.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate services, block traffic, or remove content — with or without notice depending on severity — to protect the network, our users, or third parties, or to comply with law or carrier requirements. Violations may be reported to carriers, aggregators, and law enforcement. Suspension or termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund.
7. Reporting abuse
To report abuse, spam, or a security issue, contact us using the details below with the relevant numbers, timestamps, and details.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP; the "Effective" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
